Recommended test set

1 · 11SIX24 Power 2

Test: Jade Widebody 16mm vs. Pegasus Power 2; Jade Elongated 16mm vs. Hurache-X Power 2.

This is the cleanest head-to-head for durable grit, spin retention, foam feel, power, and price. Independent testing reported roughly 2,113–2,335 RPM depending on the test and 98% grit retention for the Power 2.

2 · Six Zero Coral Pro

Test: Jade Widebody 16mm vs. Coral Pro Widebody; Jade Elongated vs. Coral Pro Elongated.

Use it to compare spin bite, control, forgiveness, and whether the Jade is meaningfully more offensive than another current Tier 1/durable-surface paddle.

3 · Honolulu J2CR Crystal Blue

Test: Jade Widebody vs. J2CR Crystal Blue standard-handle.

The J2CR is a strong value and stability benchmark: approximately 8.0–8.3 oz, 110–114 swing weight, and twist weight around 7.

4 · Selkirk OMNI

Test: same-shape Jade and OMNI models.

This isolates the difference between RPM’s SICmatrix surface and Selkirk’s Infinigrit while comparing a premium, adjustable full-foam paddle.

5 · Friday Aura Pro

Test: Jade vs. Aura Pro Widebody or Hybrid.

Not the closest technology match, but essential for a value section: does Jade deliver enough extra spin, stability, or surface life to warrant roughly $100 more?

6 · JOOLA Pro V

Test: Jade Elongated vs. Perseus Pro V 16mm, or Jade Widebody vs. Scorpeus Pro V 16mm.

This is the “foam Gen 4 vs. refined Gen 3” comparison, especially useful for touch, resets, feel, and launch consistency.

What to measure

Out-of-box performance

Serve and drive spin, launch angle, pop, hand speed, resets, drops, blocks, and off-center stability.

Surface durability

Record initial surface roughness or spin, then retest after a fixed number of hours. Jade’s main claim is long-term spin retention, not just strong first-day spin.

Shape-normalized testing

Compare widebody to widebody and elongated to elongated whenever possible. Shape and twist weight can overwhelm the material differences.

Value

Report MSRP and actual street price separately. Include warranty, included cover, certification, and return/test-drive policy.
